I have some cool news to share with you . .. Early in 2018, I entered an international Composer / Songwriters contest called the American Songwriters Awards, consisting of 26 categories of individually judged music. . . and an overall. . . kinda like a dog show. I just found out the results.
.. To get a top 10 in a category is a major deal . .. I got 11 of those and actually WON two categories for best Classical and best Reggae song. .. plus had 3 in the final top 10 of the whole competition and actually WON THE GRAND PRIZE FOR SONG OF THE YEAR. . . for a country western song. My pieces are all a mixture of pipe organ, piano, country western, reggae, classical guitar and folk . . .
